Rumblefish Presents the Christmas in July Holiday Music Contest

Dear Members,

Just a reminder that the deadline for the Christmas In July holiday music contest is right around the corner. We need your songs by September 7, 2007.

It’s way too early to be talking about the 2007 Holiday Season. But every year we get tons of requests for cool new versions of holiday standards and fun new holiday originals. So we thought, “What better way to meet this demand than to have our members submit their own holiday material?”

How it works

1. You create your custom holiday tunes. 2. Then submit them to us for review. 3. We release the top twelve through partners like iTunes. 4. The rest are licensed through our catalog, earning you cash.

Deadline

We need your songs by September 7, 2007. This way, we can prep the album for a November release and get all the songs available for our clients who are SCREAMING for cool Holiday Music.

Sound fun? Get going!

At the bottom of this email, you’ll find a list of public-domain Holiday songs. These are fair game for cover versions, if that’s the road you want to take. Just give them your own, extra-special treatment. (Please note: we all might love Adam Sandler’s “Chanukah Song,” but it’s not even close to being public domain.)

Send your music to:
