ROM: Maya Opening November 19, 2011, Maya: Secrets of their Ancient World is the next blockbuster exhibition at the Royal Ontario Museum. Working in collaboration with the ROM team, H&W developed key art for this landmark show that features nearly 250 artifacts and precious works dating from the Maya Classic Period (250 to 900 AD). Many of the objects have never been seen in Canada and are recognized as among the most important archaeological finds ever discovered. The accompanying visuals are a multi-layer depiction of art and architecture that dramatically capture the mysticism and brilliance of this ancient culture. Look for the exhibition graphics in print advertising, site signage, billboards, transit shelters and broadcast video. See more campaigns >> |

| Screen Colons Canada This past summer, H&W helped CCSIF rebrand itself as Screen Colons Canada (SCC). With Daryl Sittler as their honorary chair, SCC's mandate is to raise awareness about the prevalence and preventability of colon cancer, and to promote screening for the disease. Many people find the subject matter embarrassing – not SCC! Successful awareness campaigns like "Blushing Bottoms" and "Don't Die of Embarrassment" encouraged us to treat the design of the visual identity with the same directness and wit. | harry Fall/Winter 2011 The Harry Rosen customer respects the past but embraces the future. For this issue of harry, we used San Francisco as our muse. Fortunes were made in the Gold Rush; now it's the hub of a continent's telecommunications industry. For a story on gray suits, we paid homage to Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo. For others, we cordoned off one of San Fran's hilliest streets and took a ride on the cable cars, walked the pier while the fog rolled in, and hit Chinatown for its history and urgent pace.
