OUR LATEST PROJECT WORK THE FLYING PIG RESTAURANT We recently worked with The Flying Pig, a new resturant in Yaletown. Not only is the food there an oasis for fine meat lovers, but we had a blast working with their team coming up with the design concepts, everything from the branding to the print collateral. |

COVET: A GROUP EXHIBITION ONE NIGHT ONLY |
A few of our studio members here at AKA had the chance to collaborate with local artists on an event called Covet. The exhibition is a one night only event, where we unite the most inspirational photographers in Vancouver under one roof and celebrate the ever growing talent in the photographic community in this city. Admission is free, and a portion of the proceeds will go towards supporting a local charity.

MEET OUR NEWEST MEMBER Hailing from the UK, STEPHEN KIRBY is the latest addition to the collective space, and we couldn't be more excited to have him. |
Stephen is an insanely talented retoucher who is well versed in the fashion and advertising industries, his past clients have been NOBASURA, David Lynch, Miles Aldridge - the list goes on. We recently met up with him and all agreed that he is a solid addition to our growing family. |

TYPECAST: EXHIBITION Thank you to everyone who came out |
TYPECAST: A GROUP EXHIBITION represents the relationship between typography and its identity within design, art and visual spaces. In addition to the type-based art, we asked all 26 contributors re-create one letter from the alphabet, with some surprising (but wonderful) results. Contributors included Carson Ting, Jeff Hamada, Ben Skinner, Dave Ko, and many more.

OUR DESIGN INSPIRATION THE POST FAMILY is a studio based collective of designers and artists in Chicago, IL. |
Chad Kouric from the THE POST FAMILY recently paid us a visit along with the uber talented Margot Harrington of Pitch Deck Union, and we were glad to host. The Post Family is an awesome collective of designers which frankly, is an inspiration to us, we can only hope to strive to bring excitment back into design in Vancouver as they have in Chicago. |
